WHY INTERACTING WITH OTHER CULTURES IS IMPORTANT

We think we know everything right? Well travelling-even short trips can keep you humble and keep the world in perspective as well as give you some insight on YOUR PLACE IN IT. Interacting with other cultures can go either way but usually if you bring your smile and personality to the table and are open to learning to communicate with another culture, you may be better off for it. I've personally found that other cultures find you just as exotic as you may find them and our natural curiosity as human beings makes us have questions about one another-if we're bold enough to try. It also feels good to have International friends. I find that I learn more about the countries my friends are from and even root for some of their sports teams. Never be afraid to step out of your Comfort Zone and say hello to someone from another culture- you might be meeting your next great friend!
