The 2nd Annual Women Rock Empowerment Summit recently took place in Inglewood, California on May 6, 2023- and it was a huge success! The summit brought together women from all walks of life to celebrate and empower each other. With an impressive lineup of speakers and vendors, this event was one for the books. SnapPicture Booth was there to capture  some great photos of the attendees after being registered after entry. The Summit was hosted by Inglewood City Clerk Aisha Thompson and Council Member Dionne Faulk of District 4.

The summit was held on a sunny day at the Inglewood Senior Center, which was the perfect location for such an inspiring and empowering event. Attendees were greeted with a vibrant energy as they entered the venue, which was decorated with colorful banners, balloons, and inspiring quotes from famous and or inspiring women that have affected positive change in our lives.

The event began with breakfast and opening speeches by the hosts, who emphasized the importance of community and sisterhood. They spoke about the challenges that women face in today's society, but also the incredible strength and resilience that women possess.

The guests were also treated to a phenomenal Lunch catered by LAVENDAR BLUE in Los Angeles- as you can see we just had to get a shot of the delicious meal.

Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to attend a variety of workshops and panel discussions. Topics ranged from learning to leverage social media,  to self-care and mental health, and floral design. The speakers were all women who had achieved great success in their respective fields and were eager to share their knowledge and experiences with others.

One of the highlights of the Summit were  the Guest Speakers that were on hand. 61st District Assembly Member Tina McKinnor delivered a powerful and moving message for the attendees that brought inspiration, motivation, and cheers. 

 Inglewood Council Woman Gloria Gray (District 1) and Actress Mignon (above) were a part of this beautiful Summit and spoke inspiring words to the attendees.

In addition to the workshops and performances, there were also vendors selling everything from jewelry and clothing to natural hair care products and home decor. It was a great opportunity to support women-owned businesses and find unique products that are not typically found in stores.

The summit ended with a closing ceremony that brought everyone together for a final moment of reflection and gratitude. Attendees left feeling inspired, empowered, and connected to a community of women who share similar values and goals.

Overall, the 2nd Annual Women Rock Empowerment Summit was a huge success. It brought together women from all backgrounds and provided a space for them to learn, grow, and connect with one another. With such a positive response from attendees, as well as support from The City of Inglewood, it's clear that this event will continue to inspire and empower women for years to come.
