NIJEL BINNS OF NIJART INTERNATIONAL CREATES "MOTHERLAND"

Im going to dedicate this special blog to my friend and mentor NIJEL BINNS, CEO of NIJART INTERNATIONAL-who since the first day I met him has inspired me to pursue excellence in all of my endeavors.
I was introduced to NIJEL by a mutual friend in the mid 90's and during this time, I was still walking around with a small briefcase-style portfolio showing my work to anyone who'd look at it.I had seen sculpture pieces of NIJEL'S work along with a book he'd published titled NUBA WRESTLING. Honestly one cannot encounter ANY of his works without being drawn to them, and my first encounter of his works were very small scale projects.When we actually met and spoke for the first time,I immediately recognized NIJEL as "A MASTER OF CALM". I was very nervous as he viewed the pieces in my portfolio (I'd never had an artist of NIJEL'S caliber check out my work.)He showed no hesitation that he was impressed with my projects and I humbly accepted his praise. "Excellent Work!" was his final say on what I'd shown him. He then offers me an internship to work with him as a Production Assistant on an upcoming project he was putting together. It was such an honor to be asked to work with him-I of course immediately accepted but had zero clue of what kind of impact this particular "project" would have on the world-yes I said world!

As I mentioned I really had no clue as to what I was going to actually be working on,and it wasn't until we arrived on location on the first day of production that I realized that I was about to be a part of something that was bigger than what I could actually wrap my mind around at the time. I was one (1) of probably 50-75 individuals that would contribute their skills and talents that NIJEL would Masterfully orchestrate to bring his HUMBLY ASTOUNDING VISION TO LIFE.It was my first experience working with professionals from different industries and this project showed me how everyone's position was equally important in reaching the goal-a great life lesson in fact. I'm so grateful for having been at the "right place at the right time" and was prepared. Nijel and I would work together again later including

He is truly a Living Legend among us.



NIJEL'S VISION EVOLVES INTO "MOTHERLAND"

NIJEL is indeed a Unique Visionary ,as just bringing The Mother of Humanity Monument to fruition was just the eye opener to an even more COLOSSAL vision NIJEL planned to bring forth.
